Great doctors and techs
I absolutely recommend Bath Veterinary Hospital to any one! They are very friendly and they CARE.I have a very difficult dog who has anxiety and is people reactive and these people understand that. The moment I come in, I ask for a muzzle and I slip it on my dog and bam, ready to go. One particular time My dog came down with some intestinal issues and was possibly bleeding into her intestines. The vet wanted to keep her for 3 days and get her better, BUT sadly my husband and I were broke. We had 30 dollars on us at the time. It was a very serious illness my dog had and I knew she would get sicker and sicker and eventually die if we didn't come up with the money. Well the vet worked with us! He waved his exam fee and pumped our dog full of a fluid the nurse called "Gatorade on steroids" And an antibiotic and we took her home with instructions to bring her back in two days for another round of the same treatment. So we did. And were happy to tell the vet that there was no longer blood in her stool and that she acted much better! He again waved the exam fee and we only had to pay 30 some more dollars to make up for the meds they did give her the last visit! about a year later my baby Paws is still with me :) Lovely people there at the bath vet hosp!
These people are horrible. Our dog broke his leg, so they charged 300 to out him in a cast, only to then send us to Ithaca to pay 5,000 just to get it fixed. We actually ended up taking him to another near by clinic and they fixed it for 300. These people are nuts trying to get us to pay 5,000. How you would even have the heart to do that to people. Send them to the most expensive place.
I had a 2 year old cat with severe urinary track infection. After calling and talking with 12 different clinics and 2 SPCA's, I found Bath Vet Hospital. I talked with the receptionist about my cat and she was very supportive. She called a bunch of vet clinics that she knew to get someone who could help us without a lot of money. She called me back on my phone with no luck with any of them. I lost my job and had no money and everyone wanted half down before hey would even look at my cat. I took him down to BVH and they looked at him. We decided to put him down because the 2 days it took to find someone to help made him very weak by that point. Due to us having no money or ways to help my cat, BVH put him down for us at no charge. They couldn't do the surgery, but they helped ease his suffering and end a life that would have been very painful if ended from the illness. I will always go back to these people who helped us when nobody would.
They know our pets are family.
